It's rare that we guys get to have a getaway all of our own - but we're "on our own" this weekend in the Finger Lakes. It was hard for us to decide which season we wanted to go. We weren't sure if we should do a skiing getaway, or a golfing round robin tournament, or engage in a bit of a fishing competition.

But, we decided that golf it is. Finger Lakes Golf Trails had an unbelievable package that is going to let us try three different courses including the Finger Lakes "best new golf course" - Ravenwood in Victor.

Tonight, we're going to have some good old fashioned fun! We're going to the stock car races at the Ontario County Fairgrounds in Hopewell. It's like taking a piece of the state fair and bringing it close to home. Tomorrow night - it's to the racetrack where we'll see which of those 1200 slots is best suited to "results" - maybe our competition will even out there!

Who needs a health club? I saw the ad - the Finger Lakes is Nature's Health Club! We're packing our bikes too - we have to see if we can ride around the lake. If we accomplish that - we'll definitely come back for the Musselman or some other great event.

Yep, it’s a perfect guys weekend! And, hey we’re not only about all that outdoor stuff, we’re also going to stop by that NY Wine and Culinary Center and taste some of those NYS products – especially their newest edition – Brews from across New York State. Oh yeah, can’t wait for this Friday to come!
