A perfect anecdote for Cabin Fever is the 16th annual Canandaigua Classic Antique Show and Sale returning to the Finger Lakes Gaming and  Racetrack, 5857 Route 96, Farmington, NY on Sunday, February 8, 2015 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.. There will be over 40 quality antique dealers displaying their goods.    
Wares typically include country and period furniture, clocks, lamps and lighting fixtures, jewelry, postcards, paintings and books, linens, and all kinds of antique accessories.  Returning this year for the one-day show are many dealers who have made the show a popular mid-winter event.

Appraisal Opportunities:  In addition to checking out all the antiques, find out more about one of your own. From 12 to 3 p.m., H. Price Prazar will return to provide a verbal appraisal of antiques, books & collectibles for $6.00 per item.  Books are 2 for $6.00.  
Getting there:  To reach the Finger Lakes Gaming and Race Track from the north, east or west:  Take NYS Thruway Exit 44 to Route 332. Travel south 2 miles and turn left on Route 96 (second traffic light). As you are facing the building, the entrance to the antique show is on the FAR RIGHT. Do not enter through the Main Casino building. From the South: Travel north on Route 332 toward Farmington.  At Route 96, turn right, and then proceed as above.

The Canandaigua Classic committee partners with the Kiwanis Club of Canandaigua.  Proceeds support Kiwanis high school student scholarships and a named scholarship given to a student at Finger Lakes Community College (FLCC) seeking a career in education.
