Canandaigua, NY (November 22, 2018)  Bristol Mountain will celebrate its 55th winter season with another November opening.  “Our snowmaking team has been working hard and taking advantage of the arctic like conditions the past few days and nights to build base on Upper Rocket and Lower Rocket trails.  This terrain is for advanced level skiers and snowboarders only”, comments, marketing director, Drew Broderick.

Opening Day Details:

8am-4pm:  Guest Services, Tuning Center, Rocket Lodge and Bristol Ski & Sport will be open.

9am-4pm:  Comet Express Lift, Upper Rocket and Lower Trails open for advanced skill levels.

Ticket Special: 

9am-4pm Lift Ticket:  $55 Adults and $45 Junior/Senior (please visit www.bristolmountain.com for age clarification)

2pm-4pm Lift Ticket: $45 Adults and $45 Junior/Senior

New Year’s Eve Celebration, December 31st:
Slopes open until 10pm followed by the annual Torchlight Parade down Rocket Trail and then a spectacular Fireworks Display by Young Explosives over the base area.

Entertainment and kids activities in Rocket Lodge starting at 7pm.

About Bristol Mountain:
Bristol Mountain opened for its first season in 1964 with trail lighting and snowmaking capabilities.   This season there are currently 38 trails, 6 lifts including two high speed quads, two terrain parks, one race park, one race course and 3km of Nordic ski terrain.  This season the new HighPoint Terrain Park will debut on Challenger trail along with a freestyle aerial jump training facility for world class freestyle aerial athletes.  Bristol Mountain is the home mountain for the Bristol Mountain Super Six.  These athletes represent Bristol Mountain on the US Ski Team.  Four are Freestyle Aerial athletes and two are Freestyle Moguls athletes.   They are Jon Lillis (Olympian), Chris Lillis, Morgan Schild (Olympian), Dylan Walczyk, Harrison Smith and Patrick O’Flynn. Guided Zip Line Canopy Tours are available year round by reservation.
