The New York Wine & Culinary Center will host a Hands-on BBQ Battle Competition and Garden Tent Party on July 4th, 2014
At 5pm, guests are encouraged to watch competing teams prepare their BBQ ribs within our Hands-On-Kitchen, or venture out to the Garden Tent to enjoy music, light foods, ice cream sundae bar, cash bar, and free Genesee and Genny Light until the kegs run out.
At 7pm teams will finish their creations, and the tasting and judging begins.
Meanwhile, the NYWCC Chef’s will offer additional BBQ dishes for guests to enjoy.
Around 7:45pm the winners of the BBQ Battle Competition will be announced. Guests are encouraged to stay, relax, and enjoy the remainder of the evening under the Garden Tent and in the NYWCC Gardens for the Fourth of July fireworks over Canandaigua Lake.

Competition participants may arrive anytime after 3pm to begin their preparation in our Hands-on Kitchen. All participants must arrive by 5pm
$125 per team (12 teams max)
Class registration fee includes your ingredients, culinary instruction and use of the Hands-on Kitchen. It also includes admission to the Tent Party, where the competition will culminate in a tasting and judging.
Prizes will be awarded to 1st and 2nd place teams judged by a VIP Panel, and two lucky Tent Party guests.
