Geneva, NY- July, 18 2013- The Red Jacket Orchards Farm Store, located on Routes 5 & 20 in Geneva, NY, has re-opened and unveiled a fresh new look!

Red Jacket Orchards, a family-owned Finger Lakes mainstay for over 55 years, has just completed a major renovation to their Farm Store.  Red Jacket has been a grower and retailer of superior fresh fruits and all-natural juices for decades. It’s nationally recognized branded fruit products can be found throughout the eastern US.

Red Jacket will use its renovated facility to showcase its popular award winning products as well as educate consumers on sustainable and biodynamic food production. Future programs include on-farm tours, juice facility tours, with accommodations for buses and school groups. Customers will also notice a refreshed look and expanded selection of Red Jacket Orchard’s popular pantry items. Additional Finger Lakes Specialties including meat and dairy will be added.

“We felt it was time to refresh and update the store to enhance the shopping experience for our customers – they tell us they liked to be ‘wowed!’ I guarantee that with this new design and activities we’re planning, they will be! We’re a Finger Lakes destination,” commented Brian Nicholson, third-generation owner and President of Red Jacket Orchards.

The new Farm Store is now selling Red Jacket’s own summer fruits: blueberries, raspberries, cherries, plums and its renowned apricots. Daily features are planned on fruits and locally foraged produce. Continue to watch the store develop and add even more products leading up to the grand opening in late September, when a gala event is being planned.

Over the past few decades, the Finger Lakes Region of New York has become a destination garnering notable media attention, most recently dubbed a “food town,” by the Rochester’s Democrat and Chronicle

“We’re proud to be part of this foodie town, and excited to have the opportunity to participate and enhance the destination!” adds Tracey Dello Stritto, the new Direct to Consumer Manager for Red Jacket who will be managing the retail store.
