Due to the success of the February Break Kids Culinary Workshops, The New York Wine and Culinary Center has added additional workshops on April 15th, 17th & 18th over Spring Break. 
“It’s thrilling to see these workshops received so well by the community considering this is the first time we’ve run our kids workshops in February,” said Jeff McLean, Lead Chef Instructor at the New York Wine & Culinary Center. “It gives the kids a fun, educational activity to do over the school break and they even bring the dinner they created home to their family afterward. I’m excited for the next session in April.”
The curriculum for the Kids Culinary Workshops consist of basic culinary skills such as knife skills, cooking methods, healthy choices, portion control, and food pairings. Students will ultimately use the skills gained over the three hours to prepare a unique dinner recipe. Each dinner preparation also includes portions to feed up to a family of four for the students to take home.

The Spring Break Workshops will be held on April 15th, 17th and 18th from 2pm-5pm
The Spring Break Workshop costs $75 per class or $200 for 3-day package*.

Workshops are recommended for kids ages 10-15. Ages 9 & under require accompaniment (at no extra charge).

The Kids Culinary Workshops are condensed models of the weeklong culinary kids camps hosted by the New York Wine and Culinary Center throughout the summer months. As part of The Center’s not-for-profit mission, the NYWCC team has made youth education on fundamental culinary skills, healthy eating habits, and local agriculture one of its highest priorities.
