The Smith Center for the Arts is the premier organization in the Finger Lakes promoting art and cultural events at the historic Smith Opera House in Geneva. The new website, launched on May 7, 2014 showcases upcoming events and makes tickets readily available for purchase on line. The website, thesmith.org, will feature background information on live events, artists, films, community programs, off-site venues for club-style events, and Artsmart Educational Programs. The public will be able to purchase tickets easily through the website for any event or venue. 

The event calendar will provide a long-range look at the events and programs offered at The Smith with frequent up-dates. New, diverse, and exciting programs are coming in the near future.  A new email newsletter with an easy to read format, access to video links and ticket purchasing was also launched on Thursday. The Smith Center for the Arts is a non-profit organization that is sustained by its membership, donations, and volunteers. Patrons can support the arts in a variety of ways that are highlighted on the website such as becoming a member, donating, planned giving, and naming opportunities. The website provides information for how to make a lasting difference in the art and cultural life of the Finger Lakes community.
