For the sixteenth year, the Geneva Rotary Club is sponsoring the Santa Train Express in cooperation with Finger Lakes Scenic Railway. This may be the last year that this special event is offered, so get your tickets early. This year, five trains will run on Saturday, December 2, 2017.
The trains will board in downtown Geneva adjacent to the Public Safety Building on Railroad Place, just off Exchange Street. Trains will depart promptly at 10:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 2:30 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. Actual boarding time will be 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time for any train. The trains ride is approximately 50 minutes in length.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will be aboard each train and will meet with every child. Each child will receive a coloring book, a box of crayons, and a candy cane. A holiday sing-along will be held during each trip. Also, hot chocolate, soda and light snacks will be available on the train. Tickets cost $20 per person with lap sitters riding free.
When purchasing tickets online, you must bring your email confirmation to the event. This confirmation is your boarding pass.
Tickets for this event have sold out for the past four years, so it is suggested that patrons get their tickets early to be sure they are not disappointed.
If you have any additional questions about the train, you may contact The Santa Train Express Executive Offices at 315-789-4619.
