Saturday – October 8, 2016 9 AM to 4 PM Jake Repard Memorial 2016 Agricultural Fair and Tour of BarnsFamily Event – Tour 6 historic barns and see model barns and demonstrations on farming technology. Keep-sake guide booklet provides barn history and locations. Sign up at Outhouse Park, Outhouse Road Canandaigua. Attend Ag Fair at no cost!

Cost $10 person; Children 16 and under are admitted free.

Saturday – October 15, 2016 11 AM to 3 PM – Downtown Canandaigua Heritage Day
Family Event – Join the Canandaigua merchants and the Historical Society in celebrating the heritage of Canandaigua’s business district. Join a store-to-store scavenger hunt for prizes. Also take a guided tour by Preston Pierce the Museum’s Educator and Ontario County Historian to learn about the history of lower South Main Street.
Cost: Scavenger Hunt: $5, Children 16 and under free; Guided Walking Tour, Free w/donations accepted.

Saturday – October 22, 2016 10 AM to 3PM – Canandaigua Community Open House Day
Family Event – The Welcome Mat will be out at four area locations and the public will be invited in for special tours. The day will feature hard-hat tours of the apartments at Canandaigua’s latest development, Pinnacle North. The historic Burning Springs on Case Road in Bristol will be open for hiking and Parsons Pipe Organ Builders that recently rebuilt the organ at the United Church in Canandaigua will give tours of their facilities on the Bristol Valley Road and the Canandaigua Fire Department will open the doors of their South Main Street headquarters and give tours of the facility. In addition to the fire trucks and apparatus, there will be a display on the Department’s 200th Anniversary that is being celebrated this year. Finally, the Historical Society will be giving behind the scenes tours of the County Historical Museum located on North Main Street. Take the tour see all things related to our county’s history.

Saturday – October 29, 2016 10 AM to 4 PM – Architectural Scavenger Hunt in Canandaigua’s Historic District
Bring a Friend; Bring the family. This will be an event that you will be talking about for a long time. Pick up the tour booklet and while strolling along the streets in Canandaigua’s North Main Street Historic District match the architectural elements on the buildings with those in the booklet. Write the addresses down and hand in your answer sheet that is in the booklet. Prizes will be awarded. Simple. Fun.
Cost: $5 per booklet.
