Rapturous music, innovative programming, a season of the grandmasters’ works coupled with twentieth century composers, and a Finger Lakes-inspired World Premiere: It’s all part of this 17th year of the Finger Lakes Chamber Music Festival (FLCMF). All concerts feature FLCMF founding director Richard Auldon Clark, with professional musicians from his Manhattan Chamber Orchestra (MCO), and invited guest artists. A prolific composer, Clark has premiered ten of his compositions in Carnegie Hall venues in the last five years. His latest work, inspired by the Finger Lakes, will be premiered July 21 at the Anthony Road Winery FLCMF concert.

The program at Anthony Road Winery for guitar, flute, bassoon and strings, July 21, includes Clark’s world premiere, as well as works by Tchaikovsky, Diabelli, Febonio, and Piazzolla. The season is a mix of old and new, classical and folk, with some surprises maestro Clark has in mind to delight, challenge, and provide unexpected pleasure.

Venues are wheelchair accessible.  Concerts include a reception.

Adult tickets are $25; students are free. For more information or to order tickets on line, visit http://www.FingerLakes-Music.org (click Instant Seats logo).
