You will also meet other Finger Lakes master crafts people! Your weekend will include tastings with wine makers and cooking with local chefs. These Finger Lakes Insiders will show you an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at their worlds.

Meet the farmer: Go Maple Sugaring!
Tour an authentic Upstate New York maple farm at Wohlschlegel’s Naples Maple Farm, with owners Garry and Bobbi Wohlschlegel. Watch the process of making maple syrup, then sample the product drizzled over warm, fluffy pancake breakfast.
Meet the farmer: From maple to mushrooms!
Tour Kettle Ridge Farm, a unique maple farm in Victor, and home of “Adopt-a-Maple” program, with father and son duo Joe and Chris Hurley. Learn how maple syrup evolves from the tree to the table, and sample different grades of syrup on buttered pancakes. Observe honey bees begin their spring pollen-gathering. You’ll also learn how logs are inoculated for growing shiitake mushrooms.

Celebrate New York State Maple Weekend at the New York Wine and Culinary Center with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres made with maple syrup from Kettle Ridge Farm in nearby Victor. Taste three creative maple-infused cocktails paired with three savory maple appetizers. It's a perfect way to start your Saturday evening!
Meet the chef: Hands-on cooking experience!
Crepes are a delicious dessert, but have you ever had a savory Mediterranean crepe, or a Buffalo chicken crepe? Pierre Heroux, chef and owner of Simply Crepes in Canandaigua, will guide you through the process of making your very own unique crepes featuring locally sourced ingredients.
Meet the winemaker: Behind the scenes tour!
Meet with winemaker John Brahm, owner of Arbor Hill Grapery & Winery, and savor a unique tasting experience of heritage grape varietals that date back to the 1800s. Brahm, an area authority on grapes and viticulture, will walk you through the process of wine making from vine to vintage. This will include personally mixing wines and having exclusive barrel tastings.
Meet the Brew Master: See where it all started
Get a taste of amazing beverages at Naked Dove Brewing Company, pioneers of the Canandaigua area brewing scene. Visit this iconic brewery, learn the history behind the name "Naked Dove," and sample their fine craft beers.

How it works:
- Guests will have the option of choosing their travel dates upon booking.
- Guests will have a selection of available tours during their travel dates (March 17-19 & 24-26, 2017)
- Tours will be offered at the following time slots: 10 A.M. and 2 P.M.
- Each tour is subject to availability.
- Each tour lasts about 1-2 hours.
Transportation: Guests will need to provide their own transportation, Finger Lakes Insiders will provide a detailed and specialized itinerary for each package.
Dining: Includes (1) $50 lunch voucher, and (1) $100 dinner voucher for select restaurants, gratuity not included. No meal or beverage restrictions. Guests will be responsible for the remainder of the dining costs, if voucher limit is exceeded. Dining vouchers are non-transferable.
