Learn about about the history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Finger Lakes at the Hill Cumorah Visitors Center in Manchester. The Center offers displays with interactive audio and video as well as free guided tours. Walk or drive to the top of the Hill Cumorah to see the statue of the Angel Moroni. Each July, the Hill Cumorah Pageant takes place on the grounds of the Visitors Center. The free outdoor performance tells the story of how church founder Joseph Smith received the tablets from Moroni that were later transcribed into the Book of Mormon.
