Websites
Finger Lakes Visitors Connection hosts and/or maintains several visitor information websites. Here's a list of those sites, with a direct link so that you can take a look. If you are interested in linking to any of our sites, please visit our link policy and submissions pages, and contact us. We recognize the importance of link marketing for success for all of us who are promoting tourism to the Finger Lakes Region.
www.visitfingerlakes.com. This is the main site for tourism information on Ontario County. The information on the site is database driven and is updated at least once a month by the staff at the Finger Lakes Visitors Connection. Listings are free on this site for Ontario County Tourism businesses. All copy and links require approval. Additional listings may be purchased and there are opportunities for sponsorships on certain sections of the site. Statistics are available on the visitation to the site and specific pages within the site.
The Visitors Connection realizes that it is not only essential to have a website to market its products these days, but it is imperative that the information be timely and accurate. We rely upon our industry to help us keep our site current. Additionally, we invest marketing dollars to make sure that our site is ranked high enough on the search engines so that the visitor can easily find us when searching through tools such as google.com.
The Visitors Connection also encourages links to our site to maximize our search engine presence and comprehensiveness of information. We have a trade links policy for those who are interested in linking to our visitor sites.
New York’s Finger Lakes is Nature’s Health Club® - and this health club is open year round and 24-7 if you want it to be! Nature’s Health Club®combines nearly unlimited opportunities for fitness in hundreds of varied, natural venues, along with great locally grown foods, and all combined in a setting made for relaxation, rejuvenation and fun.
The future FingerLakesTrails.com website is dedicated to provide thematic driving trail information. Ten trail themes – ranging from winery trails to spa trails to food and event trails are promoted on this site. These trails extend beyond the Ontario County borders in order to provide the visitors the most complete experience possible. Trail ideas can be submitted to us for consideration.
www.routes5and20.com. The Routes 5 and 20 promotion is a cooperative between the tourism promotion agencies from Skaneateles to Darien, New York.
