Carolina Taylor

Raised in Medellín, Colombia, Carolina is the FLVC team’s Visitor Experience Specialist. After years of traveling the world with Colombian cultural representation performance groups, she developed a passion for exploring new places and connecting with different cultures—first through art, then through work! Carolina recently moved to upstate New York from New York City. She loves the landscape, lake visits, and good food! Carolina is eager to explore more of the region’s offerings and to add some Finger Lakes souvenirs to her collection.  

In her free time, Carolina enjoys strolling around different Finger Lakes towns, learning her way without a GPS, trying new restaurants with her family and friends (always ending with dessert), and playing music on her piano.

Carolina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Communication and Journalism from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana in Medellín, Colombia, and completed two marketing programs: one at Long Island University and another at Universidad Eafit. She previously worked as a radio host, producer, and communications assistant in Colombia, and in tourism public relations at Development Counsellors International in Manhattan, first as an intern and then as an Assistant Account Executive.
