Canandaigua, NY - The Canandaigua Art & Music Festival will take place on Friday, July 17, from 12 to 7 p.m., Saturday, July 18 and Sunday, July 20 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The festival will include artists and crafters, food vendors, live music and activities for kids as it returns to Historic Downtown Canandaigua this year.

Rochester is well known for the many unbelievably delicious food trucks that circulate through the city and from July 17-19, they are again making the trip to Canandaigua for the festival. New in 2015, The Canandaigua Art and Music Festival will host a food truck rodeo on Friday. The food truck rodeo is a group of food trucks gathered in one spot of the festival from 12 to 7 p.m. Participating trucks include Brick-N-Motor, Cheesed and Confused, Macarollin, The Original Mac & Cheez and Wraps on Wheels.

Another new twist in the festival this year is the Community Cause-Way. Community non-profit organizations will be gathered in their own section of the festival, sharing their stories and hosting a fun kids activity at each and every booth. The Cause-Way will take place on Saturday and Sunday of the festival with activities including tours of an ambulance, an interactive tabletop Enviroscape, photo ops, corn toss-across, ring toss, face painting and more.

Over 100 Artists, Crafters & Exhibitors

This year's festival brings new artists in almost every category, including ceramics, pottery, jewelry, woodworking, leather, fiber, glass, photography and gourmet foods. Vendors will set up along Main Street to display their wares, with opportunity for festival guests to browse and shop as they please. This year the festival will continue to feature young artists, giving student artists the chance to display and sell their handiwork.

Music

Musical acts will play at the Boylan Code Stage all three days of the festival. Boylan Code Stage is located on the corner of Coach and Main. Performances range from Reggae, Rock & Roll and A Cappella Music that feature incredible talent from the Upstate New York region.
