Native American Winter Arts & Music Festival Offers Culture, Dancing, Shopping, Food, and Special Raffles

A full day of immersion at Ganondagan, free and open to the public

Victor, NY—On Saturday, December 8 from 10 am - 4 pm, Friends of Ganondagan offers visitors a unique and free Native American Winter Arts & Music Festival experience.

On the schedule is traditional Iroquois Social Dancing, storytelling, samples of Iroquois White Corn food and unique Ganondagan blend coffee, the opportunity to shop from Native American artisans and find one-of-a-kind gifts in the Gift Shop. In addition, visitors will have the opportunity to bid in a silent auction and participate in special raffles.

“We’re very excited about our Winter Arts & Music Festival,” said Friends of Ganondagan Executive Director Meg Joseph. “With the holidays coming up, we know that people are looking for more local and unique gifts. In addition to the work of our artisans, this year’s raffle will feature some really wonderful items, including an authentic Pendleton blanket, Iroquois White Corn Gift Baskets, hand-crafted Native American items, and much more.”

All events are free and open to the public. The festival was made possible by the generous support of the New York State Council on the Arts. For more information, visit http://ganondagan.org/WinterArtsFestival  or call (585) 742-1690.
