Good Eats
Come join local farmers and chefs at for a “Meat” and Greet at Hobart and William Smith College on Saturday, March 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Everyone from consumers and home cooks to chefs, restaurateurs, food trucks and food distributors are invited to meet farmers of locally raised meat and network with chef attendees. There will be free tastings and cooking demonstrations by three area chefs from H.J. Stead Company, Halsey’s Restaurant and Fox Run Vineyards. Learn more

It may be cold now, but spring is just around to corner! To celebrate, bring the whole family, because kids under 12 ski for free during Bristol Mountain’s Spring Carnival Weekend! For those over 12, eight-hour passes will be $49 on March 17 and 18. In addition to hitting the slopes, there will be events all weekend, from scavenger hunts and raffles to a rail jam and wine tasting. You will find something for everyone.
