Spring is in the air, and that gets us thinking about our relationship with the outdoors. The Earth and I lecture and workshop series continues with a bird walk.
Join the 8th Annual Bird Walk with avid birders, Mahlon and Eleanor Hurst, through the FLM’s Townsend-Grady Wildlife Preserve wetlands to discover what bird species are migrating and nesting there. Previously, participants over 40 different species were identified by sight and sound! Please wear sturdy boots that can withstand wet, mud, and uneven ground, and bring your binoculars and journals! Parking is available on either side of Townsend Road.
Please consider a donation to the FLM for continued support of programs like this. Thank you!
