Victor is easily proclaimed, “Ontario County’s shopping district!” Four Shopping areas right along Rt. 96 and Rt. 490 in Victor make binge shopping much easier. You can find it - meaning almost everything - here. Serious shoppers will love Eastview Mall, a super-regional, upscale shopping mecca located less than a mile off the NYS Thruway Exit 45 and Route 490. The Mall specializes in fashion and home goods and includes stores not found anywhere else in the region including Anthropologie, Madewell, Janie & Jack, Box Lunch, Buckle and others. Major department stores include Macy’s, JC Penney and the only Von Maur department store in the Northeast, where you often can shop while listening to their in-store grand piano being played. You can also enjoy a facial or massage at Euphoria Salon/Spa or take in a movie at Regal Cinemas. For the sports enthusiast, Eastview recently became home to the first ever state-of-the-art 100,000 square foot Dicks Sporting Goods House of Sports. You can test your swing and pick out the perfect clubs, practice climbing, or get your bicycle serviced here. L.L. Bean is also “on campus” allowing for great outdoor gear, tenting options, and footwear for any event. Shoppers won’t go hungry at Eastview with a food court that includes nearly a dozen options for shoppers on-the-go. A carousel here is a popular spot for family reminiscing. For a more leisurely meal enjoy full service dining at P.F. Chang’s China Bistro or Champps Americana. The outdoor vibe continues across Route 96 at HighPoint. Here you’ll find Northface and the Neon Wave, a lifestyle shop dedicated to surf and board. The development also houses retailers such as Alex & Ani and Olive Garden. Starbucks Café is in one of Victor's original cobblestone homes built in 1836. The colonial architecture of the new buildings pays homage to historical Valentown. The New York Beer Project and across from the Mall is a re-creation of the most famous beer hall in NYC circa 1870 with opulent chandeliers and a grand staircase serving a selection of featured beers and upscale pub food. FarmHouse Brewery is connected here in the buildings reminiscent of the Erie Canal pathways. Relax the Spa promises a bit of a respite from the hard work of shopping all day long in this busy district. Once you leave Eastview, there are even more shopping opportunities to explore close by. Eastview Commons sits to the north of Eastview Mall and includes Best Buy, Home Depot, Old Navy, Staples and Target. Victor Crossing, just south of Eastview Mall, includes 15 more stores and restaurants such as Homegoods, Ulta Cosmetics, Five Guys Burgers and TCBY. A day of shopping in this Route 96 corridor shopping district will get your steps in so be sure to wear comfortable shoes! It’s plain to see that all this shopping would be hard to accomplish in one day so book a room at any one of several nearby hotels. Most major chains are represented near the Mall and many have “Shop and Stay” packages so be sure to check the Eastview website or ask your hotel when booking. If you spend the night, treat yourself to a really nice meal as well at one of the many nearby restaurants that range from BBQ to Italian to tavern style. Shopping, dining, a massage and perhaps a movie? A day or two in the Eastview Mall, HighPoint, and Victor Crossing (Rt. 96, Victor) Shopping District is shopaholic heaven!
