We promote an appreciation for the rich history of the Bristol Hills area in Western New York’s Finger Lakes region. Explore that history on this site and in our programs, collections, and articles. And learn how you can be a part of our mission.

Our big news in early 2024 is our May 30 concert performance by Jay Ungar and Molly Mason. Click here to read the event listing. Tickets went on sale here on March 29 and were SOLD OUT by April 13. You can go to the ticket site to join a waitlist, in case any buyers cancel before the show.

Links at the top of this page include all recent press release announcements (What’s New), listings of upcoming and past events, and information on supporting the society (Donate), our Finger Lakes Barn Quilt Trail, and renting our two historic buildings. Under Our History, you will find a number of articles on our two towns, along with historic photos.

Under the About menu, read about the two historic buildings preserved and cared for by the society, along with minutes from board meetings, the board members’ names, and information on two of our special projects: the annual Wreaths Across America project honoring the veterans buried in our cemeteries, and the society’s popular book published in 2023: History and Mystery: The Folklore and Legends of the Bristol Hills.

You can also scroll down this page for information on the book and on our other work in the community.

Follow our Facebook page and sign up for our free email newsletter on happenings at the society (signup form is at the bottom of every page on this site).
