Naples Grape Festival in Naples, NY 

Held in Naples since 1961, the festival celebrates the village’s grape-growing traditions at the height of harvest season. Events and vendors spread across Main Street and the grounds of Memorial Town Hall and Naples High School, with grape pie at the center of the weekend. 

Try slices of grape pie and other grape treats alongside festival food, then browse artisans selling pottery, textiles, jewelry, woodwork and more. Live musical performances range from solo musicians to full bands. With food, crafts, and music, this festival is great for all ages. 

One of the festival's signature events—held on Saturday, Sept. 26—is the much-anticipated Naples Greatest Grape Pie Contest at Memorial Town Hall. The contest begins at 12:30 p.m., with pie entries accepted from 9 a.m. to noon. If you’re a passionate grape pie baker, don’t miss your chance to participate in this Finger Lakes staple.

Adults 21 and older can also visit the Brahm Moore Beverage Garden for tastings and bottle sales from Finger Lakes wineries, breweries, cideries and distilleries. 

The festival takes place rain or shine, and organizers recommend arriving before 11 a.m. to avoid heavier traffic into Naples. Public parking is available off Lake Niagara Lane for $5 per car. 

Bring layers for changeable September weather, plus ID for the beverage garden. Many vendors accept cards, but some smaller vendors are cash-only, so bring cash to skip the line at the one onsite ATM.
