Maple Weekend

New York State is known for its delicious, amber maple syrup, and March is the time of year that it flows best. Here in the Finger Lakes, we have many local farmers and sugarmakers who contribute to our region's noteworthy maple syrup. Maple weekends are an opportunity for families, friends, and locals alike to visit their "sugar houses" where it all goes down!

Not only is this an educational experience, as visitors are able to tap the syrup themselves and view the entire process right from the source, but it also supports local businesses. Additionally, you get to enjoy their products right there and then! Enjoy tasting maple syrup either alone or on a piping hot stack of flapjacks — you choose!

Come join your local maple farms annually in March. Maple weekends span about four days across the last two weekends of the month. Check out our listings below to see more details about our maple partners and their special offerings and events.
