Finger Lakes, NY - Travelers of Routes 5 and 20 have a new resource at their fingertips, a pocket map published by the Routes 5 and 20 Marketing Committee, highlighting the local food favorites along the iconic route between Skaneateles and Darien. 

A variety of organizations including the Genesee County Chamber of Commerce, Livingston County Chamber of Commerce, Finger Lakes Visitors Connection Ontario County, Cayuga County Office of Tourism and Skaneateles Area Chamber of Commerce ran a survey to find out the locals’ favorite places to eat. The map covers 135 miles of the “Authentic American Road” and has 50 local food favorites in different categories.

“So many people take highways and thruways and have no idea what they are missing by doing that. Routes 5 and 20 is a truly iconic road with plenty of gems. This year the Routes 5 and 20 committee chose to highlight the great food along the road and I think people are going to be pleasantly surprised by all the tasty treats they’ll find along the way,” said AJ Shear, Communications Manager for the Finger Lakes Visitors Connection.
