Historic downtown Canandaigua (115 Main St., Canandaigua, N.Y.) comes to life with flowers and family fun during Canandaigua in Bloom on June 6, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. With over 100 hanging flower baskets, earth planters, ground plantings, window boxes, and urban gardens decorating Main Street, Canandaigua officially welcomes the warm seasons, marking the opening day of the Canandaigua Farmers Market (Mill St. Pavilion, Canandaigua, N.Y.), along with the start of outdoor dining, and live music at Central on Main (111 South Main St., Canandaigua, N.Y.).

In commemoration of America 250 this year, Freedom Festival 2026 invites everyone to a two-day celebration on June 13–14, 2026, at Bristol Hills Historical Society (6751 County Road 32, Canandaigua, N.Y.), featuring Revolutionary War and pioneer reenactors, period craftspeople, vintage games for children and adults, as well as performances, lectures and other activities honoring life in the Finger Lakes during the nation’s earliest days.

A beloved annual event, the 25th edition of Arts at the Gardens at Sonnenberg Gardens (250 Gibson St., Canandaigua, N.Y.) returns June 27–28, 2026, for two days celebrating Finger Lakes art. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., visitors can wander the property and explore vendors featuring handmade works, including painting, photography, jewelry, and pottery, along with food and beverage vendors.
