From memorable dining experiences to family fun, toast to the year ahead and celebrate Finger Lakes Style!
Sip and Savor
Sip and savor the last night of 2021 at one of Ontario County’s fabulous restaurants. Geneva’s Kindred Fare, an eatery inspired by farmhouse cooking, has prepared a special 3-course prix fixe menu for your culinary enjoyment. Alternatively, try the funky New-American style Roots Cafe in Naples or the stunning historic Warfield’s in Clifton Springs with its brick walls and ornate tin ceilings that conjure up images of times past, both featuring special New Year’s Eve menus. Where ever you choose to feast, be sure to make reservations as we love to eat our way into the new year here in the Finger Lakes!
Dance the Night Away
A glimmering night of elegance and exceptional service awaits you at Geneva on the Lake’s Gala New Year’s Eve party. Pampered guests will enjoy a beautiful Stickley furnished suite and bottle of “Christmas Cayuga Wine” upon arrival, followed by afternoon hospitality, lively cocktail libations, delectable dinner menu, dancing to one of the region’s top bands, and a champagne toast at midnight to ring in the new year in the most fabulous way. Geneva on the Lake’s famous brunch completes this exclusive package. Or, spend New Year’s Eve overlooking snow-rimmed Canandaigua Lake with the Lake House on Canandaigua’s New Year’s Celebration Package. Celebrate in style with a three-course dinner in the cozy Rose Tavern featuring the freshest, locally sourced fare, live music, a toast at midnight, and a sumptuous brunch on New Year’s Day. Add a spa treatment at their Willowbrook Spa for the ultimate in revitalization and relaxation.
The 44,000 square foot Finger Lakes Gaming in Farmington, with over 1100 video gaming machines, is open for gaming and dining on New Year’s Eve with special drawings and a spectacular Fireworks show at midnight. A whole evening of fun under one roof!
Light up the Night!
New York’s premier ski resort, Bristol Mountain near Canandaigua, is bringing back their annual torchlight parade and spectacular fireworks for New Year’s Eve 2021! After a day of skiing, be sure to stay for this amazing light show like no other!
Rewind and Restore
Kick off your intentions for a healthy new year with a class package at Spoke Cycle and Fitness, Victor. On December 31 they offer a “rewind” class and on January 1st a “restart” class. Spokes claims their musically driven, fully choreographed rides will make you forget that your are even working out. Really?! Well, let’s hope. If cycling isn’t your gig, check out Ontario County’s other yoga, gyms, and fitness options for a healthy new year beginning.
The Finger Lakes are just made for family fun so it’s no surprise we have plenty of ways for the whole family to ring in the New Year together. The Greater Canandaigua Civic Center and Geneva’s Recreation Complex both offer public ice skating on New Year’s Eve so the whole family can skate into 2022 (well, almost). Light up the Lawn at The Granger Homestead in Canandaigua featuring a variety of sparkling, decorated trees ends on December 31 so do a walk-through for one last glimpse of holiday magic. The Roseland Family Fun Center offers New Year's Eve packages that can include Atomic Bowl Laser and Light Show, food, party favors, and a ginger ale (champagne for the over 21 crowd) toast. You choose the package that’s just right for you, your family, and friends and they do the rest!
