Finger Lakes Visitors Connection, the official tourism promotion agency for Ontario County, has created an Ontario County biking guide section of their website, VisitFingerLakes.com/Biking. The site has downloadable maps for biking locations around Ontario County, from hills to trails to rides with lake views. 

Finger Lakes Visitors Connection, the official tourism promotion agency for Ontario County, will celebrate National Travel and Tourism Week (NTTW) next week, May 3 through 9. The annual celebration recognizes the contributions and accomplishments of the U.S. travel industry. This year’s theme spotlights resilience and hope in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic: the Spirit of Travel.

February 14, 2020 (GENEVA, N.Y.) — It’s a “Save the Date” like no other. Today, Belhurst is excited to announce a wedding contest – an all-expenses paid wedding to one lucky couple. The historic venue hosted its 10,000th wedding and received honorable awards from The Knot and WeddingWire last month. To celebrate? Belhurst is selecting one couple to win a wedding of their dreams. 

CANANDAIGUA, NY – Finger Lakes Visitors Connection, the official tourism promotion agency for Ontario County, has announced grant awards totaling $25,750 awarded through the Finger Lakes Visitors Connection’s Visitor Experience Fund. This round of project awards – highlighting Accessibility for All – provides matching funds to improve accessibility and the visitor experience in Ontario County.  

CANANDAIGUA, New York (January 30, 2020) –

The snowmaking crew from Bristol Mountain, N.Y., emerged as the winner in this year’s HKD Snowmakers and Ski Area Management Magazine “I AM a Snowmaker” nationwide contest. The seven finalists in the 2020 I AM a Snowmaker contest were: Aspen Snowmass, Colo.; Bristol Mountain, N.Y.; Eaglecrest Ski Area, Alaska; Gunstock, N.H.; Hunter Mountain, N.Y.; Killington Resort, Vt.; and Pats Peak, N.H. Each snowmaking crew created a compelling storytelling video for the contest, and the public voted for their favorite.
