There’s just something about a rooftop bar that makes the drinks taste better, the conversations livelier and the experience elevated (quite literally!). With the gorgeous panoramic views of the Finger Lakes region, we love seeing our number of rooftop bars continue to rise.

Please remember that social distancing guidelines are still in place. Keep yourselves and our community safe by following all rules and regulations!

Building the Ultimate Finger Lakes Picnic

It’s what I like to call the Finger Lakes conundrum. There are so many trails to hike and vistas to see, but there are also some delicious foods to be sampled around the area. How is one able to do everything at once?

Enter picnicking.

Fusing together a rejuvenating hike with Ontario County dining, all while maintaining social distancing regulations is a perfect warm weather day activity, and I am here to make it even easier. So, lace up your sneakers, grab your picnic basket, and let’s hit the trail!

Does this sound familiar?

You’ve turned on Netflix to discover you have no idea what to watch. Your last bottle of whatever-brand-you-could-find Sauvignon Blanc has just been emptied. You want to keep social distancing, but where do you go from here?

You may have been spending extra time with your mom than normal or unable to see her due to distance or because one (or both!) of you are essential workers. No matter how your Mother’s Day might look this year, here are 7 ways to show your mom, or the maternal figure in your life, just how much they mean to you! Many will even offer shipping right to her front door.

Did you know that Ontario County has an alpaca farm? How about a museum dedicated to communications history so full of stories you just may lose all sense of time? In this new climate, many people are finding themselves spending more time indoors, so why not spend your time (virtually) in the Finger Lakes!

Easter is going to look a little bit different this year, but with many Ontario County businesses offering Easter Sunday specials, you can create a fun holiday celebration with you and your loved ones and still maintain ample social distancing. Fire up a Zoom call, dust off your copy of Easter Parade and get your artistic skills ready for some egg dyeing - all with some delicious, authentically Finger Lakes treats!
