Fall Brew Fest 

Experience a taste of the Finger Lakes beer scene at the annual Fall Brew Fest on Nov. 1, 2025, at the 41 Lakefront Hotel (41 Lakefront Dr., Geneva, N.Y.). Presented by the Seneca Lake Order of Brewers, this event will bring together more than 20 breweries around Seneca Lake for an afternoon of beer, wine, food and competitions.

Nov. 14-16, 2025, to enjoy more than 100 artisans, craftsmen and specialty food vendors as you start your holiday shopping experience with the best of Finger Lakes goods.

Local tip: The little ones can enjoy an early visit with Santa in his Canandaigua’s house to make sure he knows exactly what’s on their wish list ahead of time. 

 

Granger Homestead Festival of Trees 

As we start looking for tree farms to create a movie-like holiday scene at home, Granger Homestead (295 N. Main St., Canandaigua, N.Y.) brings the holiday cheer early with the annual Festival of Trees between Nov. 14-Dec. 6, 2025. Find inspiration at this unique event featuring trees of all sizes and characteristics adorned with lights, nutcrackers, and more. With more than 100 items displayed each year, Granger Homestead becomes a serene winter wonderland that will brighten your Christmas spirit. 

 

Illuminate Light Parade

For a dazzling display of holiday lights, head to Canandaigua to enjoy the Illuminate Light Parade in the Canandaigua Downtown Shopping District (115 Main St., Canandaigua, N.Y.) on Nov. 29, 2025. Starting at 6 p.m., enjoy a parade full of Christmas lights with Santa’s arrival at Commons Park followed by the tree-lighting ceremony. Witness a procession of illuminated floats, fire trucks and antique cars while enjoying caroling and food as Canandaigua lights up for the season.
